The
Denali Expedition
Seeking a vacation, Dwight Galbi, Mountain Climber, decided to climb Denali.
Denali, also known as Mt.
McKinley,
is the highest peak in North America.
The climb from its base to its peak is 18,000 ft. This ascent
is about 6,000 ft greater than the ascent from the base of Mt.
Everest to
its summit. Moreover, the high latitude of Denali makes
cold and thin air especially acute dangers for mountain
climbers. Climbers lacking proper training and equipment face
a
grim fate on this mountain. Dwight, however, is known not just for
physical
strength but also for meticulous climb planning and precise execution.
