Initial Trading in Kenya Airways' Shares
On the first day of trading in Kenya Airways shares on the Nairobi Stock
Exchange (NSE), prices ranged from KSh 11.95 per share to KSh 15 per share,
and closed at the end of the day at KSh 12.75. A total of 298,000
Kenya Airways shares were trading on the first day of trading in the shares
and they amounted to 67% of activity (by number of shares) on the NSE.
Over the first week as a whole, 2,6 million shares of Kenya Airways were
traded, and these trades accounted for 52% of the transactions on the NSE.
The price of Kenya Airways shares at the end of the week fluctuated between
KSh 13.5 and KSh 14.0.
