Prospectus for Kenya Airways' Initial Public Offering

In conjunction with its offering of shares to the public, Kenya Airways issued a Prospectus describing relevant facts about its business and the offering.  The Prospectus included information given in compliance with the requirements of the Companies Act, the Capital Markets Authority, and the Rules of the Nairobi Stock Exchange, where the stock offering was listed.  But the Prospectus went well beyond providing legally required information.  It was a sixty page document, organized into fourteen parts, that provided a great deal of information in a clear and understandable way.  Over 90,000 copies of the Prospectus were distributed to the public.  The Prospectus helped build potential investors' confidence that Kenya Airways would be run transparently and professionally.
